Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Visual Storytelling: Develop compelling visual narratives and communication across various formats, ensuring clarity and impact. This may include creating assets for websites, social media, marketing materials, and presentations, aligning with brand messaging frameworks.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high design standards across projects. This includes providing constructive feedback and sharing best practices.
- Design Systems: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive design systems across multiple brands, ensuring consistency and scalability. This involves developing and maintaining brand guidelines, including logos, visual systems, colour palettes, typography, and brand assets.
- Brand Identity Development: Lead the development of new brand identities from concept to execution, ensuring they are bold, memorable, and resonate with the target audience. This includes understanding brand archetypes, vision, mission, and values.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in motion design and/or video editing to enhance visual storytelling.
- Proven experience in website design, with an understanding of user experience principles.
- Professional proficiency in Figma for design.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of design and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, driving them to successful completion.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience working effectively with international teams.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or a similar role
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and experience in brand identity and design systems.
